Dr. Jonathan M. Fields, DAOM, is a leading Acupuncture Physician, Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Martial Arts Instructor, and Public Speaker. His own harrowing experience with a critical illness and the subsequent disappointment with conventional medicine led him to explore alternative treatments. Through non-pharmaceutical and non-surgical methods such as Acupuncture and Functional Medicine, Dr. Fields made a full recovery and has since devoted his life to helping others in similar situations. He owns two clinics in South Florida in Coral Springs and Boca Raton.
Dr. Fields' mission is to empower individuals to uncover the root causes of their health issues, utilizing evidence-based practices to achieve lasting results. He combines his expertise in Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Nutritional Counseling, and Functional Medicine to create customized wellness plans for his clients.
With a background in martial arts, music, and design, Dr. Fields is an NCCAOM Nationally Board Certified practitioner in Acupuncture, Herbology, Foundations of Eastern Medicine, and Western Bio-Medicine. He holds certifications in Mastering Functional Blood Chemistry, Fundamentals of Blood Chemistry, Functional Endocrinology, and Mastering the Thyroid. He is also certified in Advanced Stem Cell Therapeutics, Injections, and IV Therapy.
Dr. Fields has trained at the prestigious Shaolin Temple Medical Center, a 1,500-year-old UNESCO World Heritage site, where he studied Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tai Chi, Medical Qi Gong, Meditation, and Shaolin and Plum Blossom Kung Fu. He has interned at the renowned Beijing Gu Lou Hospital, founded by descendants of imperial doctors, and studied under some of the most eminent physicians in China.
He currently serves as the Florida Regional Director for the American Institute of Mental Health in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
